Tahr 

The Tahr longbow was my pet design a number of years ago but was put on the "back burner" for close to ten years as I was more focused on my 3pc takedown designs.
In the summer of 2017 after some friends asked me about it. I decided to dig out the old blueprints, make a few tweaks and start building it again.
The reverse type riser points very well and the sleek/lightweight design is perfect for long backcountry hunts.
​The Tahr is currently available in lengths ranging from 54"-66" 
2pc takedown also available.
The shelf has a radius for good arrow clearance. Shelf is located 1 1/8" above deepest part of grip.  Sight window is cut 1/16" past center. If riser is solid or majority G10 I can cut sight window up to 5/16" past center to accommodate plunger, accutune etc.
Risers are available in 2 different styles. Double footed flare (custom) and solid black G10 with no accents running through the riser. Only riser and limb overlays (base model)
​Our limb options are black fiberglass, clear fiberglass (plus veneers), or carbon. 
​Each bow comes with a flemish string.  
​Actual string lengths are 3" less then bow length.
All bows are sprayed with a 2 part epoxy finish.
