Thank You for visiting Wengerd Archery. We are a small startup located in Sandpoint Idaho producing custom recurves and longbows. I have been building laminated recurves and longbows since spring of 2002 as a hobby and finally took the plunge full time in the spring of 2017.

Because of my current backlog (approx 2 1/2 - 3yrs as of winter 23/24) I have decided to stop taking orders for the time being. The goal is to catch up on orders for customers currently on the list and restructure how I accept orders in the future. Once I'm caught up on the current list my goal is to still offer custom builds but focus more on building stock bows.
For customers that have one of my Ibex or Chamois bows (original or new model) and would like another set of limbs. I will still be accepting limb orders through this time. Wait time for extra limbs approx 2-5 months.
Through this time I will occasionally have stock bows available through the stock bow page on this site.
